At Newsletter Insights, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds work for our paid plans.
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will retain full access to paid features until your subscription expires
- Your account will automatically revert to the free Explorer plan
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
Cancellation takes effect immediately, but you won't lose access mid-month.
14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
New subscribers: If you're not satisfied with your paid subscription, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
This guarantee applies to:
- First-time subscribers to Starter or Pro plans
- Refund requests made within 14 days of the initial payment
The 14-day guarantee does not apply to:
- Subscription renewals (only the initial payment is eligible)
- Upgrades from one paid plan to another
- Enterprise or custom plans (subject to individual agreements)
Pro-Rata Refunds
In exceptional circumstances, we may offer pro-rata refunds for unused time on your subscription. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may apply in situations such as:
- Extended service outages caused by us
- Billing errors on our part
- Other situations at our discretion
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@newsletterinsights.io
- Include your account email address
- Briefly explain the reason for your request
- Include the date of the charge you're requesting a refund for
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment provider
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
- The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
Plan Changes
Upgrades: When you upgrade from Starter to Pro, you'll be charged the difference immediately and your new plan starts right away.
Downgrades: When you downgrade from Pro to Starter, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You'll retain Pro access until then.
